…or so they say. Because I live in the caves of eternal ice, I have all of the benefits of a freezer for food preservation without any electricity, which means I don’t have to live by the idiom – at least when it comes to food.
Printed copies of a book, though? Certainly, I wish to see the product before it’s released.
AND SO I HAVE.

The final round of edits is done.
Many colored pens valiantly gave a portion of their lives so that I might call it a day on this manuscript. ISBNs have been purchased. Files have been exported into a really, really specific PDF type. Fingernails have been chewed in anxiety as the cursor flicks between “cream paper” and “white paper”. Accounts have been made, 1,000 text boxes have been filled out, and “keywords” have been forged in the fires deep below Mt. Adams.
And it’s…almost done. The colors didn’t quite work out, so we’ve changed the tower’s color from hex 222222 to 444444, because shades of gray matter outside of the thematic elements of the text, too, apparently. My wife has identified 4 typos, which I have now corrected. The book is getting resubmitted, but it’s so close. It is unbelievably cool to hold this thing in my hands (which is really saying something when you live in ice caves).
Anyway, the Kindle version is up and available, so consider this the soft launch of the ebook! You can grab a copy here:
Because the internet is a fantastically odd place, I can say that my book has reached the top 100 in the “Heist Crime” genre on Amazon. It’s currently sitting at #56, but I know we can do better. I firmly believe we can hit that coveted top 50 and have it on page 1 of the genre results.
Together, anything is possible.
Stand by for paperback launch – should be this week!
